the internets have been infected with cancer a long time ago. Magnora might be a sleeper agent

/u/magnora7 are you a Manchurian Candidate? Please be candid with us.

probably it feels like everyone with any type of internet authority are potential members of the deep state. I mean most people(normies) don't want to dedicate their lives to running 24/7 a website and creating it and maintaining it So it would make sense that internet deep state janitors are typically the ones with all the websites.

I mean it could have been a mod, but it's highly unlikely imho.. this was an admin.. Even playing Devil's Advocate, if he uploaded this video to Reddit itself from his phone, it potentially has metadata on the video file that anyone who saves it can potentially get access to. So anyone could get access to that type of information if he did that, but only a Mod or Admin would be able to alter the flair of a post.

And a mod can't even see your IP with the "tools" they're given - they can't see the coordinates of where you posted from unless they stripped the hypothetical metadata successfully lol. I really don't feel like a mod would do this, as it's too much work, most probably don't know about it and they like their ass-pats and their janitor work. It seems more like one of the Admins who believe they're "untouchable and have the power to influence elections, but never, ever, would do that", did that and abused the GPS function of the Reddit app. And that's incredibly fucked up and scary.

tl;dr/dw: (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ if you still use Reddit for whatever reason, don't use the app. ♥

Edit: The Mod's response: https://www.reddit.com/r/JusticeServed/comments/ekbcc2/do_you_guys_have_a_public_moderation_log/fd9xi6y/

Apparently a Mod is accepting the blame for it, but the mod is saying the coordinates were not OP's address or even within 200 miles of where OP lived, and OP was "trolling everyone".

This deserves to be in bold.

They have this great app, called the "web browser" app that can browse any website and doesn't give away all one's privacy and security! Amazing. It's my favorite app.

[–]Justin 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

A web browser should be the only thing needed to browse a website like Reddit. It's a fucking link aggregator with comments, I shouldn't need to download an app to use it, nor should I be bombarded with the 'how would you like to proceed? Open in the Reddit App or browser' when I use my phone.

[–]magnora7 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

'how would you like to proceed? Open in the Reddit App or browser' when I use my phone.

Agreed. It's exhausting how many times we have to answer that question. And how many times do I have to tell it I want old.reddit.com instead of the new one... It's all designed to gently coerce people to use the new site and the app (which almost certainly data-gathers everything it can off your phone and then they sell that data, this is standard procedure for most big app companies unfortunately)

It's a sad state of affairs, but the consumer needs to be smarter. The problem is the technology is developing faster than the consumer's awareness of the potential pitfalls.

[–]Undiscovered 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

The consumer just wants to consume as much as possible regardless of quality or repercussion. I have come to the conclusion that most of the USA's problems lie within the fact that they are the most goods addicted country to ever exist. Without the need for unlimited consumption China and others wouldn't have been able to take advantage of it. People are addicted to cheap goods. Buy, break, rebuy.

Within that they are addicted to showing off their goods on these "free" platforms, those platforms then learn public and "private" info about said person and sell it for more than people realize. Then they are marketed to so they buy even more cheap goods.

In my opinion the only way capitalism truly works is if the consumers are intelligent, resourceful and patient. It seems those three have been thrown out the window in order to gain convenience and quantity, rather than quality.

Very interesting comment. I agree, especially about America's addiction to consumerism. And this addiction subsequently creates the American addiction to work, in the desire for money. "Work hard, play hard"

The post was in the spirit of the sub, user was only banned because he removed a front page post (which admittedly isn't a listed rule). We didn't insult him, we didn't "troll" him, we just banned him and that's it. This was all well after the coordinates and hint had been taken out of the flair, somewhere in the timeframe of 6 hours prior.

After reading it, it all makes sense now and they were totally being reasonable. /s

I want to make something clear. When the author of the video says left-wing. When they say left-wing, they are talking about establishment Lefty types. Corporate-friendly types. And those people are dangerous. Progressives and other activists seeking to change the Party politics, aren't doxxing anyone.

I tend to call these people, big money leftists.

[–]Tarrock[S] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

And I just want to make something clear too.

Reddit is full of progressives, not Corporate-friendly types. Progressives are the ones doxxing.

[–]Spud 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I am not so sure about all that.

My experience has been the larger left communities on Reddit are definitely prone to favor establishment politics. Lots of people are saying progressive, then will proceed to slap an ugly "Russian agent" label, or attempt other intimidation against anyone challenging the party from the left

We may be talking past one another, hung up on labels too

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

it's conservadems, true liberals get banned. Hillary lost cuz everyone knew she was too conservative, why not vote for a real conservative instead, or just stay home, which is how it went in the rust belt

if they're a true progressive they support bernie and would not be able to be an admin

[–]Spud 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This.

Dems, and maybe in this sense, "the left", are divided.

Berners are considered toxic to the party, ignored by media, and many party line Dems will smear and distract with "u r russian" BS, along with "u are why we have Trump" pretty much anytime there is a challenge from the left.

The divide is generally along economic lines too.

Big money has found out it can pretend to be "progressive" by favoring liberal social issues, sometimes to a fault. While at the same time, crushing the working class and poor economically.

Berniecrats, also say they are progressive, but are generally solid left economically. There are some harder lefties out there too, some like Bernie, but want more radical leftism. I digress.

The ones doing the censorship and general BS

neo-liberals + neo-conservatives = conservadems?

I like it. Combined they create a hot "debate" that has an overton window that's limited to pro-authoritarian discussion

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

neos yeah. neoliberals use shock doctrine and use a crisis to institute privatizations and push austerity, they did this with the 2008 recession. Obama's mom pushed micro loans in malaysia. This is where she made contacts and told people about her son who then ended up working for BIS, a CIA front organization after college, where he was groomed. Neocons mainly want war for israel but their interests align with neoliberals as well so there is overlap. Dems pretend to hate trump but it is all for show, they secretly like how he divides and conquers but he has all the same policies as Obama behind the scenes besides some things that don't matter much. Obamacare will not be repealed, he pretended to rengotiate NAFTA but it will stay.

[–]Jesus 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Except, neoconservatives and neither new nor conservative. They are neoTrotskyites spreading revolutio nand mock democracy around the world. They merely worked under right wing administrations becuase they found that they could hijack the protestants and rile them up for war, which they did. Hence the Christian Zionism we observe today. But yes, neo-liberals (globalists) usually work hand-in-hand with the agendas of the neo-conservatives.

You have the neoliberals pushing huge loans on destroyed couuntries by neo-conservative doctrine with taxpayer money in which the public becomes inddebted.

Drdreamtime/Justice bot is a prime example of what is wrong with reddit. He "trolls" r/justice served every day be it conflicting politcal posts(which were against the rules until someone called him out on it and he deleted the rule) to just recently replacing the CSS with furry stuff.

AH! Good luck with that, seven proxies and all that.
