Okay this has happened so much and so often, I have to speak up about this. Hope this doesn't come off as virtue signalling, clout chasing, or what-the-fuck-ever.

Male feminists, and SJW's embrace of male feminists, are the single, express reason why I'm no longer an SJW. I'm still progressive and support progressive causes, but I have nothing to do with nor want anything to do with social justice activism as such.

Here's the truth of the matter, based on my experience with the SJW camp. They know who's a sex pest and abuser, and who's not. In fact, they tend to welcome sex pests and abusers into their ranks, and actively cover for them for as long as they can or until it becomes more convenient and profitable to "MeToo" them. This isn't a case of mere stupidity or ideological blindness, it's active malice towards each other and those outside their cliques and enclaves.

The personal experience I had, which broke me away from that camp, was I knew a male feminist from my college who was a serial stalker, blackmailer, and date rapist. This was a known, perpetual, ongoing issue, and inside the circle outside his earshot it was all "oh that guy's a creeper, he does stuff, don't let yourself be alone with him if you know what's good for you"...when he was around, it was all sunshine, rainbows, and daisies. Outside the circle, on the other hand, the SJW's who out the other side of their mouths admitted they knew the truth would defend this guy to their very eyeteeth with every bit the slanderous ferocity you've come to expect.

Why? Because he had connections that were useful, and he victimized women outside the clique. In fact, women inside the clique would talk this guy up, and set him up with outside women, knowing damn well what was going to happen to them. Turns out, the easiest way to propagate the notion all women are victims, and all men abusers, is to set other women up to be victimized. They want men like this around, to perpetuate their own garbage in some twisted psychosexual self-fulfilling prophecy.

By the time I became acutely aware of what was going on, there were six or seven women on campus -- including one or two very good friends of mine -- who he'd date raped or otherwise abused, stalked, and slut shamed into oblivion. They were finally speaking out against this guy, two or three of them got restraining orders against him, and of course the response from this camp in particular was deadass the same rape apologia they decry in literally anyone else. I got out, spoke out, got "canceled" on campus, and never looked back.

Trust me, whatever you believe about these people, nine times out of ten the reality is actually way worse.
