Bill and Janet Nelson move into a new home. They come to believe that the young boy who lives next door intends to kill them.
Cast:
Bradford Dillman, Diana Hyland - The new couple
Mickey Sholdar, Ed Asner - The boy, his father
This was yet another one that shows that Hitchcock truly was a master of suspense. Little odd things start happening, and the couple is second-guessing themselves. They try to get along with the boy, but he is distant and unresponsive. Then he threatens to kill their dog, and things escalate quickly...
Trivia:
Bradford Dillman was the actor's real name. He said "Bradford Dillman sounded like a distinguished, phony, theatrical name -- so I kept it."
