The Invaders - The Saucer
To capture an alien ship, Vincent seeks a man (Dabney Coleman) considered a crank for reporting saucer landings.
#19 - S2E2 - September 12, 1967
Vincent had the chance to finally get ahold of one of the aliens saucers, but in the end he traded it away all for a beautiful girl (Anne Francis)
It was neat that they built a full-size saucer they could actually climb inside.
MeTV viewers will recognize from Anne Francis from The Twilight Zone (in "The After Hours" and in "Jess-Belle"). She also appeared in two episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents (in "Hooked" and in "Keep Me Company") and three episodes of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour.
Lost in Space - A Visit to Hades
Judy falls for a political prisoner held in the power of a magic lyre.
#41 - S2E12 - December 7, 1966
Guest Gerald Mohr (Morbus) was marvelous as the political prisoner playing the part of Lucifer.
Thankfully the gorgeous Marta Kristen actually gets some good screen time in this episode. Smith, as usual messes with the lyre and gets into trouble. One thing I love about this show is they always end on a dramatic cliffhanger!
Note: This is the only episode broadcast on CBS primetime on three occasions - twice during the second season, and the third time as the final episode of the third season. This episode was a cast and crew favorite. Mark Goddard was injured making this episode.
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea - Doomsday
The Seaview is on exercises when a series of signals are received indicating the USA is at war and they are to prepare for launch of all missiles.
#19 - S1E19 - January 18, 1965
The classic dilemma, disobey an order and risk everything, or play it safe and start a war?
The cold war was in full swing at the time, and tensions were at an all time high.
Land of the Giants - Deadly Pawn
The travellers are strapped to chess pieces and forced to play for their lives.
#30 - S2E30 - October 12, 1969
I play chess, so this was quite a fun episode.
Have you ever noticed that there is a mousehole in every room, some complete with a tiny door? Pretty handy when you need to sneak in and out of rooms.
The Time Tunnel - Invasion
Doug is brainwashed by a Nazi doctor (John Wengraf) to kill Tony and commit sabotage in Western Europe shortly before D-Day.
#15 - S1E15 - December 23, 1966
The brainwashing was an unusual twist. I am very interested in memory and how it is captured, retained, processed, and even transferred.
Planet of the Apes - Tomorrow's Tide
Gordon and Burke are captured and enslaved by the head of a fishing colony, and must prove their worth as fishermen or be sacrificed to the gods of the sea.
#6 - S1E6 - October 18, 1974
Whereever this was filmed was amazing, just beautiful scenery.
Swimming underwater with sharks was a stunning visual too!
The Powers of Matthew Star - Genius
A high-school science whiz invents a paint that robs Matthew of his powers and explodes at high temperatures.
#4 - S1E4 - October 8, 1982
Well, we're up to episode four, and this series hasn't gotten any better. Even super-powers can't save this show.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
