There was no evidence presented at Gary Ridgway's trial, the Judge simply read the charge of aggravated homicide and an alleged victim's name forty eight times, where after Ridgeway said "guilty" forty eight times.

He has since pleaded guilty to a forty ninth murder .. it seems he will nod his head to anything, and is taking the blame for kills "cleared" with the FBI and regional law enforcement who in turn receive accolades for solving the crimes.

At no time does it look like Gary Ridgway slaughtered forty nine women, forensic research proves a person fights like a demon when he or she is being killed.

Very often rake marks on the perpetrators face and body and skin recovered from under the deceased's fingernails have secured convictions, Ridgeway's face is unmarked.

His claim that while driving in company with his son he picked up a prostitute then took her into some brush and murdered her while his offspring waited in the car, does not ring true.

He told investigators he would take them to locations he had concealed bodies, he had a day out of prison but no bodies were found, he said he strangled the first victim the police say she was shot.

It is not uncommon for innocent ppl to confess to crimes .. there is no evidence Ridgeway murdered a single victim, he is known to have been at his place of employment when many of the killings took place.

So if Ridgeway never killed them it means someone else did, while the prosecutors and judges take the easy way out by accepting his guilty plea.

The most disturbing aspect of the serial killer phenomenon involves the ongoing slaughter of "lot lizards," prostitutes who work truck stops.

The FBI has compiled a list of more than 750 murder victims found along or near US highways, nearly 450 potential suspects many of them truck drivers have also been identified.

When construction crews find the bodies beside the interstates, they allegedly most often load them in with the trash because police and FBI investigations slow down work too much.
