I agree that it does, but I don't think it's healthy to glorify violence for the sake of entertainment. There is a place for a violent response, such as when your life or liberty is being threatened. To me, this is a blood sport in the same vein as the Roman gladiator battles, albeit a much tamer version. Although I don't support it personally, as long as the participants are willing and know the risks I don't think it should be restricted.
