There might be a few good eggs but it's by far, a bunch of men who hate women.

I don't see the people you describe as actually representing MGTOW, although I haven't spent much time investigating. Is hating women really the philosophy of that group, or are the haters a fringe who don't represent MGTOW?

We see the same phenomenon in religion and politics too. Conservatives who don't conserve. Christians who aren't Christian.

Seems pretty common for people to falsely represent themselves as something they think they want to be, but are not.
