Oh for sure. Especially hard on the pretty ones, who spend their formative years getting an unrelenting amount of attention from men. They develop an inflated sense of entitlement and self worth.

Lemme tell ya, you don't want to be around this type as they start to age and the foundation of their self esteem crumbles away like a dog turd in the rain.
