Good catch, thanks for posting this!

Had always expected the social scoring/credit system to come into play, and assumed those would have been used extensively to silence dissent in the Hong Kong independence protests. The communist party has always understood that power comes from the barrel of a gun - their citizens have none, and the army reports directly to the communist party.

    While it's shocking to see happen in real time, I'm honestly not surprised by it. Hopefully this further wakes people up to the coming dissolution with the tech obsession.
