  1. because of using windows software on linux?
  2. because of using bottles instead of wine?

because vm. vm does address translation, sandboxing and such. and the machine code is not optimized for that CPU. WSL on the other hand is good though. after all microsoft's got money, sigh. i would not trust its security though.
