There are over 1000 Linux distros, damnit. My favorite used to be Linux Mint Cinnamon, until it lost the ability to find printers quickly and install the correct driver. Ubuntu is better at it now. It's the little things, like fast intallation of printer drivers with very little interaction, that my customers want to see made easy before they serioulsy consider replacing Windows 7 with Linux. Until then, I install 0patch for them.
How user friendly is Split Linux. Can an idiot install it, like they can Windows 10?

From the description, Split Linux sounds like something for the advanced user. If you are after something user friendly, take a look at Gecko Linux.

An idiot can't install windows 10, because it is always resetting your settings...

How can it change settings when its being installed for the first time? MS does change settings if people are aware enough (only 30% are) to turn off full telemetry and also turn off all tracking settings. Damn. There are many dozens of changes to make. Still, an idiot can plug in a USB stick, on a virgin PC, and let Windows 10 install.

I'd stick with Ubuntu for user friendly.
