I'd be more interested in killing the built in mic while allowing a headset/usb device, which I'm sure is easy enough but my laziness is stronger than my paranoia. https://www.amazon.com/laptop-webcam-sticker/s?k=laptop+webcam+sticker or https://shop.nitrokey.com/shop/product/nk-cov-webcam-cover-104 Many business class laptops have built in sliding cover. Before I got a proper sticker I used a post-it note like 3rdFuckingAccount said, I don't really care if someone knows if my lights are on.
