Right. But if you are creating a PDF file for for corporate distribution, you are expected to use an adobe license, and machine to produce said document. This is why alternate software to adobe, explicitly uses the terminology 'export as' and not 'save as' for PDF files.
They are not going to circumvent this obligation simply because they can. It would not only be in poor taste, but an insult to their business partners.
