There is no "one size fits all" solution for this problem so it is in fact a good thing that there exist many different ecosystems in parallel in the linux universe.

He only can rant about this because he never felt the satisfaction when you get something to run on your actual own OS. Or when one of your clients has an incident and you are actually able to solve it by looking into the logs.

I bet he types with two fingers and just misses his one-button mouse. That is why these lazy idiots should pay for their software and OSes.

I've been using Linux (with some excursions into some bsd's) for fourteen years now and i never gave up on actually solving a problem bc. my distros never gave up on me. You can look under the hood and there is a community that is eager to help you.

If you can't solve your current issue you are either searching in the wrong package (read: manpage) or are just lazy af , imo.

Above that: Why is he using only Ubuntu-derivatives when he tries to display himself as such a fkn hipster early adopter, which he actually can't even dream of to be ?

Or just use xcfe or any other desktop in the first place or at least try them before starting to flee to mommy Karen so she can bring this "issue" to the manager.
