Nope, it isn’t, because it’s desktop environment has the worst backwards compatibility in the business.

DE backwards compatibility. What does that even mean? You mean driver compatibility? That's hardly an issue nowadays. Besides, Linux supports more peripherals out-of-the-box than Windows. But keep shilling for that M$ proprietary crap.
