He’s still out and about skating and riding bikes in the bay area! He still posts short videos to his YouTube channel, I just love him. He’s so kind and creative, it’s almost childlike, but there’s a profundity about how he lives. He’s pure life.

i saw a documentary on him a few years ago that was really good, but i dont really remember it. im gonna have to dig that up. he was one of our first street gods. one of the first dudes i saw do a handrail, natas too. back then that was fucking mindblowing.

I would love to see it when you find it. I just watched this old crailtap video the other day and it’s so cool to see young skaters in awe of him.

found this in the meantime. one of the worst street contests ever. marks first handplant is terrible, but he does pretty good after that. hosoi fucks up a fucking low speed powerslide.
