In both of these videos and songs, outside of the interesting surface-level concept, there's a lot of interesting symbolism: Monarch butterflies are repeatedly used symbolically throughout both videos, the theme of the child with the imagination being sold away (presumably by the his mother with bills, who recognizes his talent, who he willingly does whatever for so her and the rest of his family doesn't have to suffer, only ironically to emotionally & spiritually lose his family) to some "entity" at a young age while their innocence is still in tact, only to have their soul taken without them realizing it until their older, and them being stuck in a form of bondage or slavery, with the only way out being the "Creator".
