Possibly! It may also be because man is the only creature who is afraid of even pondering, or accepting what he, life or this "experience" actually are in this modern day filled with meaningless distractions. Why out of all the life on this planet, did we happen to enter as human, with the ability to influence life and reality for all living beings on this planet; even our own lives, and the lives of our own species, should we wish, either for the positive or negative, and on a global scale?

Thinking/discussing all of this shit I would assume is tiring and feels pointless to many. Most people just live to get through the day, time passes you quickly that way. But there are a lot of why's, and I feel we have more power than we are lead on to believe, or convinced ourselves of. I feel there is more to being human than being another species of animal; we're creators. Accepting that is hard, a lot of responsibility comes with that, that I feel many of us don't want.

We don't like being held responsible for the negative attributes we've adopted or things we've done (those are due to other people or events that negatively affected us), but we love accepting responsibility for our positive characteristics as well as the good things we've done. It's scary to ponder why we have the "gift" (or curse, again depending on how you view all of this), of being self-aware as well as on the top of the (at least intellectual) hierarchy on this planet as a species. You may argue that other species of animals have living life down better than us, which I probably wouldn't disagree with (no one said complex is better), however we're the only life forms that are capable of creating great things (or inventions) that can permanently change everyone's reality forever, and I've seen this gift being used and perverted for negativity, more than the positive advancement of society, humanity and the world.
