Libertarian means socialist in every country except for the US.

Rebranding this word is a propaganda tactic, and so-called American libertarians have been duped.

Well, it should be noted that "socialist" can also mean significantly different things to different people, but yes, many forms of libertarianism do involve "workers should own the means of production".
