Might seem strange but vigorous exercise relaxes me. Long cardio sessions on the treadmill. I just listen to my playlist and tune out reality.

I had a similar thing I used to do.When I was fit I used to love going for solo runs on trails. It was relaxing and invigorating before work. I had a job where it didn't matter if I was dusty and sweaty so I could go for a run and not worry about being tidy for work. I could never really enjoy running on a treadmill, i think my knees just don't like it.

I think the most blissed out I have ever been was during a really hard train run. The organisers didn't allow you to wear headphones (for safety) so it was just running in nature and I got really buzzed. I get super bored when I've tried to meditate and I think this is the closest I've been to being in a meditative state.
