Labia. Also just pussy diversity generally. I swear to god women are made to feel so ashamed of our labia, our genitalia as a whole, and every sexed part of our body really. I'll stick with pussies and labia here.

I felt this in myself for a long time. Part of the process of coming to terms with the fact that I'm gay involved me coming to terms with everything about pussies being awesome. I felt so much shame over mine growing up. I was super disconnected from my own body. I remember my friends and I talking about getting labiaplasties in high school. My best friend told me her super rich friend was actually planning on getting one when she turned 18 because she hated her labia so much because they were too big. There is so much pejorative slang for labia and no positive slang. Beef curtains, roast beef, etc. (puke) and calling women "roasties."

And it's not the same way in reverse. Let's be real. Intermission to address male bodies for a moment. You've been warned! ~~~~~ Ball sacks are not aesthetically pleasing in the slightest. I don't even hear gay men compliment them, but there is no societal shaming men over their scrota. ~~~~~~End male body talk.

Back to the pussy talk. Anyway, it's like every message I was getting was that I wasn't supposed to like pussies and that even straight men thought little of them. Not to mention that heterosexual sex culture/porn involves no pleasure for female genitalia whatsoever. So I had to break away from that messaging and those external voices in my head that were not my own.

In reality, I imagine that men don't appreciate labia because men don't get any pleasure from labia and do not understand the pleasure that women get from labia. Labia are an amazing pleasure center where everything gets even more sensitive as you head toward the center where they meet and the clit area.

Women's bodies are magic, honestly.
