Yea this is true. That would be a precious, precious gift. I hate having to assume that every lesbian I know and meet is not a aafe person.

I once found someone on one of the mainstream reddit subs that I had gone on some dates with. I found her because she'd posted a selfie. She ended up ghosting me and I saw she'd also made a post venting about how this girl had ghosted her, so that was pretty angering to read people giving her sympathy and comfort. After more creeping it gave me perspective that she really had her own issues and wasn't some villain in my life as much as someone who just didn't have their shit together and fucked herself over as much as she did me. I think I've been this in other people's lives too, maybe hers too to a degree.

I also once found a single question on an otherwise inactive profile who's typing style reminded me of someone I had a little history with but was at that point just a friend. The question talked about questioning her sexuality, which I suspected the girl I knew did more than she admitted. The girl later mentioned she'd been questioning her sexuality. Nothing else was ever posted on the account.

There's been plenty of times since I've had moments where I've wondered if I could be reading something written by someone I know, but they're mostly just wishful thinking. I find it interesting to read through people's profiles and would love to know what certain people I know would be comfortable sharing on an anonymous forum.

Well since this brill thread was started, here goes: "You are the gorgeous woman with wise eyes in her early 30s that took the buss F in Geneva every morning in the spring of 2018. I am the dork that tried hard not to stare at you. I have a moderatly comfortable place of my own, a good library, a rooster, a few hens and a cat. Write to us so we can figure out this happily ever after together. " :D

Disclaimer: the rooster bites/pecks. If you're allergic to cats - I will let nothing stand in the way of true love, that mf will be shipped to a loving family across the street :)

Edit: Any resemblance in this post to any persons, living or dead, is a miracle.

I really hope not. If I have, I’ll just apologize now for being a complete asshole.

I met a previous girlfriend on pre-purge reddit. She was new to my city and concerned about the (lack of a) lesbian scene. We didn't last because of life circumstances, but it was nice to meet someone normal for once. She is still the only other lesbian I've ever met in real life who didn't subscribe to TRA logic.
