Well, Olha Kobylianska was lesbian writer. And Lesia Ukrainka was bisexual. Both are most famous our ukrainian writters.

Sophia Jex-Blake was lesbian, I think.

In female football (soccer) there are a lot of lesbians too!

and throughout history

That is hard task, as majority of time world was homophobic, and world is not believing in love withpout penises even nowadays, so it is very hard to know for sure!

Ha ha. "Suka" is Russian, "kurwa" is Polish - funny enough, our language don't have harsh swearing at all, all swearings are imported words :D

Literal meaning of "suka" is "female dog" and is not swear word, however, it is used as swear word that means "bitch". "Kurwa" (analogue to "bliad'") means both "bith" and "slut", however it is used mostly as americans are using "fuck", just "swear word in any situation".

      Why?

I don't know why. Most our namecalling is very humid or calm, and, well, language is very soft as well. Something like "little devil" or something from normal words like "let the spirits play tricks with you!" or "naked shame!", and similar. There more strong ones in older times, but they are mostly around poop or rotten food. It is interesting, as majority of other languages have their foul language around sex (and or namecalling women).

I am derailing my own post... sorry.

      Sorry x2 :D
