Dating apps are like a business and potential partners are like clients.

First you gotta ask yourself some questions:

-Who do I want to attract -Who am I currently attracting -What are my competitors doing

The image of you and your friend is good. The paintball image is good and any selfie would work. I'd keep it at those three.

The questions, you can either answer here or to yourself, but the answers will allow you to proceed from there.

Well, I hope my profile is putting off a serious relationship wanting woman who can be goffy and not take herself too seriously vibe. I feel like my prompts and pictures together do that.

So then how long have you been on the app and what are the results?

I've been on the app for two months. I had a macth the end of July. That match felt promising but she either lost interest or life got in the way, which seeing as this year is a whole mess I understand completely. Other than the one I spoke to for almost a month, I've had other matches but the conversations drop off.

Okay so your profile on a physical level is working out since you're getting matches and having interactions with these other women.

So the next question would be, why are the conversations dropping?

I honestly couldn't say. My best guess would be loss of interest or them finding someone else that held their attention. The first macth was busy. She is a school teacher. The other two I'm not sure what happened. I thought the conversations were going well.

Looks good. I think you don't have to change the text at all. I feel like maybe picture 4 should be picture 1 (the one where you're in front of the stone building). But picture 1 is fine too.

Maybe you should replace the missing milk jug hat picture with a different one that's framed just as wide. It's a bit blurry too.

Overall, if I visited your profile (what app is this btw?), I would think, "She looks like a very interesting, nice, pretty woman. She's got a great smile too."

I agree the milk jug photo is awesome.

Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate it! The app is called Hinge. It has a way different vibe from the other dating apps I've tried so far.

It's a good profile - your pictures are good and I would keep them all. I would swipe right as-is.

My only bit of feedback is that the answers read a little job interview-ish to me - not the content, just the tone. I'd probably prefer to read answers stated a little more casually, especially if you have a goofy personality.

I've never used hinge, so I don't know how lengthy the answers can be and I don't know what questions are available to you. If there's a question asking what you're looking for, I'd opt to include that one as well.

Ah, I see what you mean. I think they read that way because I'm just more direct in what I say. That's a good idea though. I'll give it a go.
