I do the "curls for the gurls." Just kidding, kinda. I lift weights for ME. Also walk 5x a week and trying to add more yoga. I'm getting old as fuck and trying to get healthier so I do all these things for longevity and mobility. :)

My brilliant idea to be 95% self employed keeps me active.

I feel fortunate that I have a physical job that gets me anywhere from 25-30k steps a day and keeps my muscles in good shape. Otherwise, my hobbies aren’t active at all, so...Props to the people that do!

Same, that was a decisive factor in choosing my job. Being inactive rises my anxiety levels tenfold but all of my hobbies are indoor things lol

I’ve noticed the same for me, too! Luckily we found the kind of jobs that mean we don’t need gym memberships lol

Holy... 25-30k steps per day is a fuckton of walking. I walked 30k yesterday and it felt like I had run a marathon

I'm really impressed.

Thank you! I’m hoping the long walk was intentional otherwise that sounds awful. I at least get paid to feel pooped, I can’t imagine how on earth one would walk 30k without it either being work related or... actually I just can’t.

Actually... it was just for clothes shopping haha. I took a scenic route through the city and it was my running day, so step to step and it ended up being 30k. But I really like to walk so it's not all that bad.

That actually sounds super pleasant! It sounds like a win-win- exercise and “treat yo self” deal.

I am going to work and back with feet, and it is around 1h both sides. I prefer not to use transport, when it is possible.

On weekend I am time to time walking or riding bicycle to the forest, and there either climbing trees and resting or swimming.

I pace a lot inside, and go for a walk every day.

I just go for walks, mainly through residential areas where I am not likely to encounter a lot of people.

Running! And sometimes biking.

I am following a running plan so it gives me a motivation.

And I work from home since March so I started to walk more, especially since I love to discover a new music while walking in the park or listening to some interesting podcasts. And if I need to say buy something from one mall or another that is like 6 km away? I walk there too instead of taking a bus.

Running. I've gotten really into it since quarantine started. Also a lot of bodyweight fitness and yoga.

I go for a walk every single day, no matter how big/smol. Everywhere I have lived I have found where all of the trails are, and I sort of rotate through them (sort of because if I really like one I visit that one way more).

I just joined a gym last week so I go there everyday. Apart from that I go on long walks most days and during the lockdown I followed a lot of exercise videos online

I found a gym with a coach & membership community I really vibe with. It's CrossFit because that's the kind of intense workout I like (despite being incredibly weak and out of shape--they have to scale down every single exercise for me), but you can find that sort of camaraderie in any type of gym.

I am using apps (the silly 30 days ones), darebee which has free workouts and a pair of dumbbells. I used to go out for intense walks but now it gives me anxiety and I have noone to go on them with. Gf doesn't live close.

I took up pole fitness classes almost a year ago and absolutely love it. My body is toning back up and my arms are so much more powerful. I even bought a home pole that’s up in the kitchen so I can practice or just jump on for some crunches while boiling the kettle.
