Archive! Archive, archive, archive. So much of the wonderful lebian history and records we have are due to regular old lesbians of every age and walk of life simply saving things relevant to lesbian love and life. Find a website or article you really like? Archive it with The Wayback Machine or Archive Today. Find a book or magazine you like? Record it's existence and share the name, author, ISSN/ISBN, publisher if you can. Sites like Goodreads are good for this. Visit lesbian history archives in your area if you're lucky enough to live near one.

Your money is also extremely valubale. Donate to lesbian organizations, gatherings, websites, and causes. Buy books and ebooks written by and for lesbians. Listen to lesbian podcasts. Study the lesbian history of your country and others. The women who came before us left a legacy that came from action. It's now our turn to act. We have to participate. Speak, write, draw, compose, blog, perform, do whatever you can. Share your thoughts, feelings, desires, artwork, anything.

Even posting here is contributing to lesbian spaces. The more the subscription count grows, the more we post, the more we talk about our lives... that all counts. So many baby lesbians find comfort and strength in themselves just by seeing other lesbians exisiting.

This. Your money and your voice are valuable to the community.

I have suggestions, but I'm hesitant to even share them on a public forum so they don't get ruined by idiots. They're not secret, but being a lesbian is dicey these days.

Start using “lesbian” to describe ourselves in the world. So many lesbians hate the word that it contributes to misconceptions around orientation. Stop calling women “girls.” Believe it or not, doing these small things actually builds confidence, especially if they feel odd at first.

I try really hard to say woman when I am speaking about grown ass women. It was really weird at first. That’s dumb. It shouldn’t be weird.

This. I make an effort to say women and lesbian, it was so weird at first but it shouldn't be.

I love saying it now, and calling the women I work with WOMEN, including the youngest ones. It’s more respectful

I love this idea! Just a simple and cut lesbian convention. Nothing extra.

What is the name of this event?

Brilliant question, thanks for the post. Is anybody aware of some github projects related to our spaces? I am in a very early stage of identifying local organisations (and veryfying them) but because of the brigading and no platforming it's kinda hard to find the irl communities.

We may walk in different shoes in our lives but all of us know how difficult it is being a lesbian these days. Be supportive and keep on learning from each other.
