Hang in there; we'll all figure it out. I'm glad at least that we didn't get hit in the first banwave. I feel like that extra week and a half gave the mods a chance to form some kind of exit plan and promote this place on TL.

When the left moves to the left and abandons yet another group, the good news is the right is right were it was. I'll take a friend that will disagree with me to my face over a backstabber any day.

I never thought I would see the day where the hate was so strong in our own community that lesbians are unwelcome. It’s actually so sad.

I was happy when pride month was over. It is like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. The moderns LGBTQ "community" ignores and treats us like shit.

On events I checked - bi-sexual women, partially bi-sexual men, and lesbians were thrown away. So most events I checked just from curiosity this year were without B and L. So they were just GTQI+, huh.

I think bisexuals and lesbians get thrown beneath the all-encompassing queer label the most.

    Yeah, I hate that word.

And they don't even care to hide it... to them we're either bi, awful T*RFs that should be massacred or the all-encompassing queer (that doesn't even mean any actual shit) and I'm pretty done with it. Hopefully someday, with or without a fight, we'll get our rightful places back/ go even further.

I am Lesbian and proud of it! But I am not proud of LGBT community nowadays, do they have any pride left?

It would be great to have lesbian events again. Can't imagine doing it without getting constant harassment. That's why I go to the festivals and gatherings whenever I can. They may not be 100% lesbian but they are all female and majority lesbian. Works for me. It's going to take work to rebuild this community.

I went to my first pride like 5 years ago and saw literally NO lesbian representation anywhere. It was all about the GBTQetc. The bi women I was with had no idea why I was so depressed the whole time and were mad at me for being a downer.

There was this bisexual booth that had a game. You get in line and wait for your turn to spin the wheel to get your pic taken kissing either a man or a woman. I was waiting for the bi girls to take their turns, when this random bi woman said to me "don't you want to get your picture taken?" and I was like "no, I'm a lesbian." and she legit frowned and looked me up and down and said "oh. Well, we still accept... your kind." And I was just like okay lady take a chill pill. I wish I was joking lol. I HATED pride and I won't ever be going again unless it's a lesbian event like dykes on bikes or something.

I enjoy pride parades with small groups of friends that I know with absolute certainty are L, G, or B. Only then can it be enjoyable, away from the incessant talk of gender and hormones and genital preferences.
