I was just thinking about this. The pandemic does seem too convenient when we look at what it's accomplished. The elites of the US, Europe, and China are all on board for policies that are actively destroying our societies. Two reasons are being offered, endlessly repeated: covid and war. In the name of these two boogeymen, wealth is being stripped from the non-connected at a mind-numbing pace. There's a chicken-egg problem here. It sure seems like the destruction of the economic model allowing our societies to run is causing just about zero distress for the elites. They simply don't care. Almost like this is actually what they had planned. Almost like the war and the threat of a virus are simply useful scapegoats for them to wipe out the old system such that they can usher in a new feudalism. This makes sense when we realize that the elites in all three regions have far more in common with each other than any of them retains any longer with their own citizens. Who doubts this at this point? A few years ago this would have seemed to stretch the case too far, but after what we've witnessed in the past two years, I'm open to a whole new level of evil to describe the behavior of this criminal class exercising control over (and abusing that control over) ~1/5th of the world's population.
