Unpopular opinion: Inflation is being put in check by the "Inflation Reduction Act". It's a bit complicated to explain, but basically, the new corporate alternative minimum tax is being used to fund future government expenditures instead of printing as much money. The inflation rate will not run away.

And if you think: "Oh, then its just the rich corporations that are going to get the shaft." Just remember that the average wage earner who save money by investing tend to do it by buying large corporations. Their future potential retirements are going to be much smaller because there's going to be less retained earnings.
