I mean, seriously, anyone who thinks that someone has ever EARNED a Billion $, you're a sucker! lol

[–]EndlessSunflowers[S] 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (60 children)

They straight up exploit other people. Period.
For their shallow, meaningless, materialism....

How would have the product or service been produced? People who have never tried to run a business often underestimate how difficult of a skill set it takes to produce on a large scale. Of course the business leader/owner can't do all the work themselves, but they manage the operation and people and do a lot of work that most people never see. To add to their skill set, most business owners work up to double the hours of their employees until they get to a place where the business starts to "run itself".

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (43 children)

This doesn't justify anything, nor does it fit the reality of billionaires. You speak of millionaires, people who throw themselves into their self-made businesses to the detriment of their personal lives. My parents have done this. They work very hard to have their million dollars.

Billionaires are an entirely different beast, and you shouldn't try to employ shitty logic to justify their massive wealth.

[–]Zapped 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (38 children)

Are you saying that the billionaires didn't work hard for their wealth? Should people let their bank account get to a certain size and then walk away, waiting who knows how long for someone else to figure things where they left off and help propel commerce and technology, and by extension, society? If the value in what they produce wasn't there, they wouldn't make that much. Not everyone can be a Bill Gates or an Elon Musk, just like everyone can't be a Michael Jordon or a Michael Phelps.

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (33 children)

You argue like a highschool economics teacher. Billionaires never work for every dollar they have. It is impossible.

Value is fixed. Our monetary systems are rigged. There are natural reasons and foundations for our value system, but it is rigged. You can try to argue otherwise, but I have seen it and experienced it. At the end of the day, you play the game by their rules, and you make it. To play the game and win, you'd have to either be 100 % uncorruptible, or you'd have to be ignorant of true morality. You and I don't know of any uncorrupted billionaire. They may exist, but I highly doubt it. The rich moral folks have millions, not billions.

I wouldn't want to be like Elon or Bill, or either of the Michaels. They have no real skills and are so disconnected from reality, it isn't even funny. What horrible examples to try to use.

Is this really your argument? That we need money to make progress? That folks like Bill and Elon are hard workers?

Bull shit. I'm not some liberal bitch, either. My parents are top dog breeders/trainers, we make great money, and we all work very hard.

[–]copenseethe 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

I work closely with my family, and take a smaller paycheck than my co-workers, all on my own volition.

Yes, I live with my family and our lives are inter-connected. I am their primary employee. Watch yourself.

There is nothing wrong eating the eggs from their chickens or bathing in the water from their well. I work for it.

This is very true. PETA came after us with the help of a State Rep, but nothing can stop happy healthy doggies and those who love em.

Nothing I said was wrong though.

That you don't understand even the most BASIC part of capitalism is why you have no right to whine (like a little bitch) about it.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

I understand capitalism. It is human illusion, and sure, you can cash in on it, but is an illusion. You propagate their scams for them.

Then you act like there is virtue in that? Fucking laughable.

I work very hard for a couple of capitalists. I make them good money. I know how it works, you old man. My family is doing much better than most. I can tell you, it has done nothing for their minds or their hearts.

I can tell that all that cash did nothing for you but help you escape.

[–]InvoluntaryHalibut 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

What did they work hard at? Fucking over america? The system is fundamentally flawed and corrupt. Wall street financiers and corporate CEOs destroyed the functional prosperous economy of america. They used our 401 Ks to fund chinese factory growth while shutting down all manufacturing here. They fucked us.

Billionaires worked hard at raping us and destroying our country.

oh gee Mr. Billionaire you’re such a hard working conscientious rapist.

Fuck that. Propel commerce and technology indeed. They took a wrecking ball to it.

And don't forget the fact that most businesses owners are dirt poor. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. That's so'm neither Capitalists nor Socialists understand.

[–]C3P0 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Well, part of entrepreneurship is that you must have capital to risk, so in any case, I wouldn't consider them "dirt poor." Also, you'd have a hard time getting food stamps if SNAP finds out you just opened a business.

In the immortal words of Gordon Gekko... "Greed is good". Greed drives people to make things and then try to expand on that and make it better to earn more money. The reason we have things as good as we do is due to greed. Capitalism is all about greed and I am fine with that. Greed makes the world a better place. Money drives people to be motivated. Pharmaceutical makers are a prime example. I love listening to people bitching about pharmacy prices. If they weren't making all that moola they wouldn't be driven to make new/better medicines.

    [–][deleted] 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

We had a ton of great cheap antivirals that all work well to cure early stage covid and prevent people from develop severe covid. Cheap 50 year old medications that are safe. I can make and airtight case for the effectiveness of a number of them that I researched that bury the new fangled big pharma interventions that were pushed by oligarchs.

But they couldnt make any money on those because of expired patents. So everybody had to die. And oligarchs pushed bad studies that demonized covid cures.

Big pharma pushes whatever new bullshit product they have over established effective drugs with known safety profiles. CDC/FDA/Congress are in bed with these guys and they all suck each other off.

Half a million americans died this year from covid, most of them didn’t have to.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Ace inhibitors were associated with a 68% reduction iirc in contracting corona because they both act on the same pathway. I thought that deserved bigger consideration.

Although they aren't suitable for everyone, people with normal blood pressure would feel dizzy on them.

    [–]InvoluntaryHalibut 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Wow you’re saying ACE inhibitors were shown to be prophylactic? That is really interesting. I researched a little bit about ACE inhibitors and outcomes early on because a family member uses it. Initially some people said ACE inhibitors might exacerbate covid, but the data seemed to show the reverse.

I think there are a number of better alternatives for prophylaxis. HCQ or Ivermectin will both work. So will quinine (tonic water) and stuff like quercetin and EGCG. They all inhibit the viral replication. Even when they “fail” they work to lessen severity. I think ivermectin is a really good choice which is easy to obtain.

    https://saidit.net/s/Coronavirus/comments/7thx/ivermectin_cheap_covid_treatment_shown_to_be/

But a liter of high quality tonic water a day (Schweppes, Seagrams, Canada Dry) will have about 60 or 65 mg of quinine base, which should make a significant difference on outcomes.

I think theres been some studies on Vit C and D and susceptibility as well.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

The angiotensin-converting enzyme 2, (ACE2 "receptor") protein provides the entry point for the corona virus to hook into. Ace inhibitors inhibit that protein so less opportunity for infection.

    [–]InvoluntaryHalibut 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Indeed. I was aware of that. However the angiotensin renin system is so complicated that it is just not readily apparant to me why. I researched the issue a little about a year ago. But its complicated. I cant remember how it works. But there were doctors saying the ACE inhibitors might actually make covid worse. Also ACE2 is not the same as ACE2 receptor.

You can still have business owners without paying the top one-percent more than the entire bottom ninety percent combined.

I, however, reject ES's notion of the "bourgeoisie" oppressing the "proletariat." Most business owners are dirt poor — they're exploited just as much as Working-class folks like me! By who? Billionaires, mainstream media, and government bureaucrats.

Class conflict will get us nowhere! We have to unify the Nation, purge the traitors, and enforce class cooperation. No class should be allowed to garner enough wealth and power to threaten the national well-being.

    [–]Canbot 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

The measure of whether someone has earned something is never "do they have a lot? if so they didn't earn it". That is a retarded thing to believe, and even if it is likely for the most rich in the world if you accept that pseudo logical argument it will be used to claim that everyone who has more than you didn't earn it and therefore you have a right to take it. Do better.

    [–]Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

True... rather it is HOW they got it and for what means they plan on using it for the common good. If any.

    [–]Canbot 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Notice how no socialist/communist ever has sources when they make these claims. I'm all for identifying those who got rich through corruption and lynching them, but that is a different discussion altogether. You can't say I caught one person getting rich from corruption therefore all people who are rich must be guilty of corruption. That is dumb.

    [–]Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

The source is farmer co-opts. The literal def. of Socialsm is the means of prodiction is owned by the workers. There can be elements of socialism in various isms.

I caught one person getting rich from corruption therefore all people who are rich must be guilty of corruption. That is dumb.

    I never made that claim.

    [–]Canbot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Everyone who claims capitalism is bad and cites an instance of corruption or usury is making that argument. And that is exactly the argument you are using when you say " rather it is HOW they got it". Overwhelmingly they got it through hard work, right?

The literal def. of Socialsm is the means of prodiction is owned by the workers.

Then no socialist would have a problem with capitalism because they would simply start their own corporations in which all the employees own an equal share. The reality is that in it's implementation socialism means stealing the means of production from those who have already built them and redistributing it to yourself. Beyond that little detail no two socialist can agree on any other details. Ergo that is what socialism actually is, theft by mob.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

The top one percent owns more than the entire bottom ninety percent combined.

I find it hard to believe a handful of Neo-Liberals earned more money than every small business owner who put his livelihood on the line and lived well below his means for years, every worker who works overtime every day to put food on the table for his children, every patriot who cares more about preserving our way of life and contributing to the Nation than they do about selfishly accumulating wealth.

Even if they somehow "earned" it: do they deserve it, when all they do is funnel money into destroying our Nation? They bribe politicians, fund terrorist organizations like BLM and Antifa, sponsor anti-American propaganda, support gun control, censorship, open borders, weak election security, and sex changes for children. Are these the people we want to give more power to than ninety-percent of the population? No!

    [–]Canbot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I find it hard to believe

This does not constitute proof of anything. You literally have zero understanding of how they got their money. If you did you would not be so poor. It's like a fish claiming there is no way birds can fly. But like I have already said, even if the top 1% got there through corruption that does not justify the propaganda that "rich people" all got their money through corruption. Rich can mean anything and it will absolutely be used to call anyone with more money than you rich. So you invent justification to rob the rich by claiming it only applies to the 1% then use it to rob everyone who has a dollar more than you. It is a despicable trick.

when all they do is funnel money into destroying our Nation?

Don't blame the rich when the culprits are all jews. Don't use the sins of jews to go after non jews.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Racism is the rich man's sword.

    [–]Canbot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Racism as we know it is a myth. White people never identified as white, it was always by nationality. A Spaniard had absolutely no love or affinity of any kind to a Brit, if anything it was hatred. Europe was in constant warfare. The entire racism narrative was invented to divide and conquer. To blur the difference between whites and jews so that all of jewish power and wealth can be called white power and wealth so that jews do not get blamed when they claim that the rich and powerful whites are to blame for everything. So the jews could use their own evil deeds to demonize whites, because jews hate whites with a vengeful passion.

As for white privilege the entire claim is that those in power will help others like them. That is true, but it is not true for white people as a whole. A spaniard will help a sapaniard and a brit will help a brit and a jew will help a jew, but they do NOT extend this to "white people". If you are going to hate people, and claim their achievements are due to nepotism then the first group you have to judge this way is the jews. They have more wealth and power than any other group on the planet by a gigantic margin. The gap from them to the next wealthiest group is larger than any other gap. And there is no shortage of evidence of their corruption, usery, and and destruction. Just about every evil blamed on white people can be traced back to jews.

But jews are never blamed, it is always deflected onto white people precisely because jews have the power to make that happen. They control the media, the education system, and the government. They use this power to brainwash the "stupid goy" as they call them. That is where the term racism comes from.

It is not the rich man's sword, it is the jews' sword.

Begin to separate the idea that money = wealth. Real wealth— useful products and services or the ability to produce them— is not the same as money. Money is becoming increasingly divorced from real wealth as people are monetarily compensated for bullshit jobs or for doing nothing at all.

Universal Basic income is the death knell of money as useful economic information. Central planners will then control all wealth distribution regardless of the usefulness of a person’s work the loss of economic freedom is the loss of all freedom. We have to create a new currency that they cannot manipulate (through usury, government spending and regulation, inflation) or overthrow them.

the only way for the rich to become richer is to take from the poor.

That makes no sense at all. The poor have nothing to take, and the fact that you think possessions are created through theft is concerning.

The way for the rich to become richer is to create more. To use their unlimited money to buy scientists, to build corporations like pizer and use it to not only wield political power by holding medicine over the heads of everyone else but to also use it to destroy the scientific efforts of others because the less your enemies know the more powerful you are. They destroy technology that would cure diseases, they hide technology which benefits them more as private knowledge, they release only the technology that best allows them to control and manipulate people without giving away the power of knowledge to others.

That is why we live in clown world. That is why everyone has been brainwashed to believe absurdities like trans propaganda, global warming, and multidimensionality.

it isnt about who earns the money.

Yes, it very much is. At least for the vast majority of people. Outside of the uber rich and powerful the rest of us live lives of making the most of our lives. When we work towards that end and it is taken from us to support others who do not that is a crime. It is a travesty. It is destructive. It takes away the ability of hard workers to make something of themselves. To create the technology and advancement for themselves that is taken away by the 1%. Redistribution is just a way to impoverish those who challenge the 1% and their dystopic plans, and have that impoverishment be blamed on the poor. The biggest threat to the 1% are the millions of people who when left to their own devices invent, create, learn and build. Who will save up the excess of their hard work and use that savings to push the known science further; and do it openly. Who will take the medical shackles off the people by curing cancer, providing organic produce, spreading information about vaccine harm, and developing alternatives to all the things designed to make us sickly and needy.

The actual functioning of the stock market is just a complex game of manipulation. I'm not so sure that is something he would disapprove of any more than your other sins. If everyone is playing voluntarily I don't see what exactly the problem is. It exists whether you participate or not, and everyone getting taken advantage of is still going to get taken advantage of.

When we work towards that end and it is taken from us to support others who do not that is a crime. It is a travesty.

The US is a self-funding corporation. Yup. They can literally annul debts tomorrow.

    [–]Canbot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

This is a supremely nonsensical view of money. Though technically they can zero all debts, the ramifications would be catastrophic. So, no, they can't just annul all debts.

And this claim, true or not, makes no difference to my argument. No one in a country that takes away the products you create and redistributes them has anyone left making products within a few years. It has nothing to do with debt, or money. If I have all my tomatoes that I plant taken away this year I will not plant any next year. This is why they all starve. This is why socialist/communist countries that can feed themselves before they transitioned end up having to import food and ration it to the point of desperation.

They can if they want and the ramifications would not be terrible if they did it to boost the economy again.

This is entirely incorrect. They always give the rich 100x more than they give to poor. Bailouts are grand larceny and everyone salivating over a few thousand dollars and ignoring the tens of trillions that is printed for the bankers is an absolute moron. This is an excuse for redistribution of actual assets into the hands of the rich and powerful. And NO, bailouts are NOT capitalism, they are socialim. This is exactly what causes all socialist currencies to collapse. The ramifications are horrible. People eating their own kid horrible.

    [–]Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

Bailouts are not socialism, lol. They are simply taking wealth from the majorty and giving it to an elite minority. Socialism = the means of production is owned by the workers, that is it. Bolshevism was not socialism.

The poor have nothing to take

we have begun to form large slums in our communities.

    we call it homelessness.

it is my opinion that the united states is forming a social system that is similar to the caste system in india. the "in a nutshell" description of the indian caste system is that there is an "ultra poor low class" that is referred to as an "untouchable", meaning that good and proper "middle and upper class" not to shake hands or to be friendly to these people of the lowest class in the indian caste system. Apparently they enjoy working in the sewers, it pays good money.

the elite rich do nothing but to sit around and play a lifesized version of social chess. they have buckets of diamonds and tons of gold that they can spend on a whim.

somebody is robbing the henhouse, and it aint the poor.

    your move.

we have begun to form large slums in our communities.

Wrong, there has never been a time when homeless did not exist. However, the problem is now the smallest it has ever been, thanks to capitalism.

united states is forming a social system that is similar to the caste system

India's caste system is supported by laws, something that is expressly prohibited in the united states by anit-discrimination laws. They are not equally enforced because Affirmative Action and any anti white discrimination is allowed, however, you can't really claim that white people are predominantly lower class as a result. In terms of class mobility America is near the very top of all countries, which is why all the poor people in the world flock here.

    the elite rich do nothing

That is a meaningless thing to say unless you can narrow down the term "the elite rich". The vast majority of millionaires did not make their money doing nothing. It seems like you don't know what they do and instead of accepting your ignorance or actually trying to learn you invented an answer that fits into your anti capitalist world view. Or rather you were brainwashed with this view and accept it willingly because it excuses your poverty as something other than the result of your actions and the actions of your parents and ancestors. It is simply not based in facts.

somebody is robbing the henhouse, and it aint the poor.

It is illogical to say that others have money THERFORE they must have stolen it. Do better.

Wrong, there has never been a time when homeless did not exist. However, the problem is now the smallest it has ever been, thanks to capitalism.

published numbers say that we have approx 500,000 homeless in the united states.

it is my opinion, kind sir or madame, that you could debate your way out of a tornado or tsunami.

there are 500,000 people that do not have a stable home.

we have literally millions of people in impoverished rural area that are at or below starvation levels.

we have literally millions of people that are seemingly hopelessly addicted to opiate pain killer drugs.

    thanks to capitalism.

Literally nothing you said addresses the fact that it is capitalism that has reduced poverty and you have the audacity to claim that capitalism is still the problem. Absolute insanity. You are the king of clowns in clown world, congratulations.

9/10ths of the law is about one's intent.

do you notice that my posts are not peppered with insults.

my intent is to find solutions, while your intent seems to be of a rude and agressive type.

you should drop off your resume to CNN.

Most of these homeless are people that are choosing to be homeless because they are drug addicts. Many of these people are illegal immigrants. Criminals. And certainly some crazy people.

I am strongly in favor of increasing manufacturing in the US immediately. Some of these people can produce wealth if given increased opportunity. But we cannot keep compensating drug addicts at the expense of workers.

Oh btw. We can end drug use anytime we want. Anytime. When people decide that living in a decent country is more important than the right to get high. Its very easy to solve the drug problem.

The poor have nothing to take,

They can control the labor of poor people. If a poor person produces something useful and cant get compensated for it, he wont do that work. He will get a job being a professional communist for the government if he can. Because that job pays dollars, the only “trusted” currency with buying power.
