Well, I've worked in the corporate ladder for decades. It used to be true: You could be ambitious and work hard, and you'd make a pretty good career. You'd never be a millionaire, but you might be a middle manager. Now all that has changed. If you get your work done, they just pile more on. No raises. No benefits. No hope. Just work until you die and hope you don't run out of money or medicine in the meantime.

In that same vein, they downsize corporations constantly and just pile on more responsibilities to their existing people. Why hire someone else when we can make someone here do it for the same amount that they are already earning?

A lot of widespread mentality that we are all just slaves. And we are waking up to that fact, and dissatisfied about it.

meanwhile the EOs and CEOs earn more and more and more

Exactly. The guy who was in charge of fucking up Boeing got a $6m golden parachute and shown to the door. And that's small potatoes. I can think of half a dozen off hand. The guy in charge of Sears. The gal in charge of HP. The guy in charge of Home Depot. And those people just got rewarded for screwing the company out of decades of good clean operations for the sake of a few quarters of raping and pillaging the company for profits. This doesn't speak to the thousands of CEOs who do this on a daily basis who do NOT crash and burn the company. They just fuck their workers over for another quarter of a percent this year.

You gotta know people. Or learn how to manipulate them if you want to climb the ladder. Hard work alone will keep you fed and housed though if that's all you want

Okay, rightwinger who sits all day and has blackphobia. You don't need to manipulate anyone to climb the latter, maybe in corporate world but elsewhere you can suffice.

You absolutely need to have significant people skills to reach any professional heights.

Yes, but does that mean manipulation? Did Jesus manipulate anyone? Look at what happened to him.

yes, it means manipulation. Managing people. Influencing them. getting them to do what you want, not what they or someone else wants.

It means recognizing that people are not equal, and that you have a right to treat others as lesser, making them subjects of your will.

Well, yes, if we are incorporated we are already lesser than our subjects. I agree with you.

I reject that modality, tbh. Me and this particular universe are at odds.

Very true and the outrage politicians ignore.

The problem is not that people wake up and realize money out of debt is one giant hamster wheel. The problem is that if the masters decide to let some more money circulate people will gladly submit to the system again. Panem et circenses. It happened in the 80s already. The 80s were the times the system won. Since the 90s the system is celebrating.

free market capitalism requires competitive markets and non manipulated currencies backed by a substance (which anyone can print). Gold, etc. All countries are marxist entities, using central banks and fiat currencies. What I love about Marx and what he wrote is that he tells the reader the truth. They will create a moneyed class (socialism), which is of course wealth inequality. Then after, when industries are all state monopolies, they do away with the state. What are you left with? The ultimate Pyramid based slave economies run by....figure it out.
