I hate the word "capitalism" because it always ends in pointless semantic arguments between people who see capitalism as meaning this and other people who see capitalism as meaning "free markets", free markets which could also exist in a more "socialist" (this word is also confusing) society where individuals and cooperatives own the means of production instead of large corporations and billionaires. We need a new word to describe the currently prevalent oppressive system of moneyed interest in the world. Neo-feudalism, maybe?
