I had to wear a painter's mask to keep from barfing. I found a package of pork chops on the kitchen floor that expired January 13th. That crockpot was still plugged in and was full of maggots. The back porch was full of trash, too. Honestly, the bathroom was better than I expected. I hauled off 3 trailer loads of garbage. I know a guy who said he can bring those floors back. I plan on doing a full remodel. I was renting this out for $700 (about $200 below market due to the 100 year-old original windows) but can get closer to $1500 a month if I do a full remodel while it's empty and needs repair. I will make the bathroom bigger and add a master bathroom.

Ugh, I can't imagine living like that. Is that black mold in the bathroom?

Not black mold. Only mildew. That is definitely a mental illness problem. The garbage cans are only 20 feet from the back door and another 20 feet to the curb.

Should I ask what you ran into?

I had to take a picture of those bananas. With all of the rotten food, they only shriveled down and were not eaten by the rats that apparently had made a home there.
