it's a way to permanently cement trans issues to homosexuals in everyone's mind, so we cant escape.

Quite frankly if I had to guess, it's the headline writer thinking, "I really don't want to risk getting this wrong and get cancelled, so I'll throw the whole bucket in there in case one of these fits." Near the end of the article they say "the three women," though, so the possibilities are not endless.

It's like an interview I heard on NPR where a guy described himself as "LGBTQ." Oh, really? So you're lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer? All at the same time??? That must be hard work.
