Conservatives did a big boycott on target, but that's against LGBTQ+ in general not in favor of LGB. Do you still think it will help the LGB cause though?

The left will use this as fuel to hate the intolerance of the right and will ultimately double down, even if in the short term it looks like they're backing down. And I can't really blame them. Republicans oppose the trans movement. That's all I have in common with them, really. They get everything else wrong. There's no nuance. There's no discussion that doesn't fall back on the bible somehow. And they're just plain full of hate. If we're going to win hearts and minds, hate needs to be left out of it.

I don't think so. The "gays go to hell" is far in between most conservatives don't wish harm to gay people, they only find a problem with LGBTQ+ celebrating homosexuality. The fact there was even that vote on wether to ban the LGBTQ+ flag at a christian school shows some christians even are holding the LGBTQ+ flag (though wrong behaviour? Because they are technically celebrating homosexuality at that moment)

You may be right. But even so if conservative views are misinterpreted, the outcome could potentially be closer to my prediction anyway.
