It makes me extremely dysphoric and upset when lesbians say they like trans men, cuz they almost never mean post-T or post-op trans men. It feels like they don't see us as men at all.

Go with that feeling, because its true.

Its not considered lesbian I think because trans men are men. And lesbians date non-men.

Let's redefine their whole sexuality instead of accepting reality.

I've always found it strange when people explicitly state that they're attracted to trans men but not cis men. If you'd prefer dating a trans man because he would understand your situation as a woman/nonbinary person more, that's fine, but if you're dating them solely because you're not attracted to cis men, I feel like you're just after the body rather than the mind.

It always bugs me that these people keep talking about genital preferences when there's clearly more to sexuality than that.If sexuality was just about how someone looks in regards to gender then we should ask these people why aren't gay men attracted to masculine women who look like men?Why aren't lesbians attracted to feminine boys?Should gays only be attracted to them as long as said person identifies as the opposite sex?Also what does he mean by them not going for people's mind?Nobody is attracted to a person's brain.

I mean depends on the context. If you tell a T to date a trans in the sense of expanding her dating pool, yeah I would understand.

Yes some of them do date other trans people, while others apparently go so far as to be offended by this idea and say things like they only will consider non-trans people / dating other trans people would trigger their dysphoria. The double standard some of them have has inspired much mockery. Google "T4T" for more about when they date each other.

Some of them really can't seem to fathom why they should stop haranguing everyone else as withholding sex from them (classic incel-type entitlement whining), when they, too, don't want to date other trans people.

They rarely, if ever, date each other based on GENDER, though-- that's the point. Sure, t4t is not unheard-of... as long as that t is of the SEX that they're attracted to. Which is precisely what they deem intolerable (and deserving of death-and-rape threats/violence/cancellation) when anybody ELSE does it.

Meaning that THEY don't believe in this "sexuality is about GENDER not SEX!1!" crap either. So why the hell should we?
