Well yeah, yaoi is made by straight women for straight women. If a straight woman likes and relates to yaoi, that's because the woman author made it so. Yaoi is not representative of actual gay men and is not targeted at gay men.

True and the same goes for the old school slash fiction which was or still is bisexual and gay men's erotic/porn fiction/smut written for women, by women. It is very obvious that it is fiction written by women for women and the women writing it do not know what it is like to actually be a man, or a bisexual or gay man.
