That has to be one of the most tragically comic threads I've ever seen. There is just so much material there! A couple of my favorite parts included the person who talked about feelings of erasure (you know, the very same issue JK brought up with the dropping of the word "woman", for which she's been pilloried - their smooth brains just cannot forge the connections needed to see the similarity). Another part was the one who whined about it being "white cishet" people using "them", because as we all know if you add "white" or "cis" to your lament it gains you extra oppression points...even if you yourself are white or cis.

Special shout out to the poster who whined that none of his partner's (a female) coworkers were fluctuating enough between pronouns for her: "What’s weird is my partner uses she/they/he but they only use agab pronouns for her." Holy shit, the sheer ego and narcissism with these creeps! They just cannot fathom that other people have waaaaay better things to do than try and remember when the last time "he" was used for this person and to adjust accordingly. Just wow.

God, I hope this little asshole's office mates keep this up. Revolutions can begin small.
