I feel like some of the proclaimed asexuals or aromantics are socially awkward people, who just never dated or fucked despite having a desire for it. It's a key to point it out they have a desire for these because they often even say that they love to fantasy about dating or sex but as they say they don't want to see themselves involved in the acts or they even imagine themselves in such scenarios. Meanwhile I just have no desire whatsoever. I don’t care.

I think there is a raise of awareness there is such a thing as asexuality but alongside that you have a lot of socially awkward or traumatized people identifying as such. But they discover a bit later they aren't asexual.... or they water-down the term to the point it's mind-boggling, just to keep the queer label.
