Wow, not a danger-hair or balaclava-clad thug in sight! What bigots!

Seriously, the comments hurt my brain, especially the ones assuming these are all conservative Christians. What part of 'LGB' do they not understand?

This comment made me genuinely sad:

his is spot on. My mom is a pretty liberal white woman raised on second wave feminism and she definitely flirts with TERF-iness. My sister and I call her out on it, but her brand of feminism is so hard baked into her sense of self that she kind of struggles the see how problematic some of it is. Your second paragraph really hits the nail on the head. They had to fight for autonomy and the ability to create male-free spaces and their conception of womandom is tightly tied to biological stuff (think pussy hats, etc) so they cannot view trans women as women. Honestly, I know a bunch of older lesbians that are on this train as well. It's pretty sad

Imagine being this girl's (?) mother and being policed by your own daughters in defense of men's rights activism. This person recognizes that women had to fight for 'male-free spaces' and seems to endorse that, but can't understand why words need to mean things or why biology matters.

I am impressed how these people don't seem to understand why biology matters so much.
