Funny how there can be lots of T without the LGB, but LGB is never allowed to be without the T. Almost like they are controlling narcissists.

I wonder what the practical implementation of the "no LGB" part would be, exactly, as well, should LGB decide not to cooperate.

I just found the #LGBWithoutTheT wall. This is so wholesome, all the support :) I only hope it takes off more. Thank you for sharing about this!! And yes, "No LGB without the T" is a rapey-sounding slogan. My favorite tweet about it:

I’m not sorry to say that “no LGB without the T” is the abusive equivalent to “there’s no you without me” a toxic partner may say to their victim.

#LGBDroptheT is trending today now too.

Yes, there have been a lot of tweets to that effect in the last couple of days. The T can always be counted upon to self-sabotage and they just gave us another gift.

Aw hell yeah!!!!!!!! :)

Although, comments like this drive me insane:

Look what's trending. About time the LGBs turned on the activists. It's gone too far.

We've been FREAKING TRYING. There are too few of us!!!!!! There are way more blue-haired Aidens and Lias than there are LGB people, at this point!!!

edit: Okay so wait, was it really just this one home improvement company saying "No LGB without the T" that set off all of this droptheT support??

That was the precipitating event, yes, but there have been so many other moments leading up to this especially in the last few weeks with the Maya Forstater, Allison Bailey, Tavistock, sport policy and other victories that it might now be becoming a snowball effect. TRA abuses are starting to take on a visibility life of their own which is exactly what is needed, and people also need to know we've had it. It's a lot easier to reconsider one's position toward a situation if people are protesting whom one has generally supported in the past.

This, of course, is the exact same phenomenon that enabled the T to gain a sympathy foothold under false pretenses. But that works both ways and now it's our turn, but we have reality on our side.

Archives for both hashtags (had to hack your URL a bit there, the one you used wouldn't stick in archive.ph for some reason so I swapped it for the other ending):

EDIT: had the wrong screen shot URL in there so I'll just update this with the numbers from just now (August 9th, 8:43p UTC) for LGBdroptheT, which was around 1,000 last night: https://imgur.com/a/UaFCRw9

Who else is reminded of the perennial scorned-man's threat, "if I can't have you... no one can"?

That's the interpretation of many on Twitter in response.

I wish this store would pay a price for this but I doubt it.

Doesn't matter, it's having a lovely effect on peaking people so it's a gift.

Seems that I'm settling in for a long evening of documenting, amplifying, peaking, archiving, and Olivia Newton-John. Come to Twitter and help out! (Better if you already have an account you feel safe using, because complete newbies tend to be accused of being bots, but there's nothing stopping you from joining up for this anyway.)

And btw if anyone thinks "it's just Twitter," remember that news orgs come to Twitter to get a sense of what people are talking about and concerned about, because it's one of the easiest places on the net to do so. They also solicit comments and interview subjects from time time. Twitter is a very definite thorn in the side of the Gender Borg. It's the leading edge of many a ripple in public discourse, and sometimes a wave. We have an ongoing global conversation going on between GCs in quite a few different countries, including UK MPs, accomplished athletes, journalists, academics, credible scientists, the legal community, transsexuals who didn't join the gender cult, detransitioners, and a number of other spheres. Twitter is where it all comes together in a chaotic mix and coalesces into a public conversation.

And if you can stomach the extremism that occasionally floats through GC circles in a radfem sort of way (basically, prepare to be called strange names by a few of them if you say you think men should be treated fairly, too, but whatever, that's what ignoring, muting, and blocking are for), there's also a crapton of camaraderie as we talk about all of this and help spread the word.

Home Improvement Corporations now? Oh- goody; I can't wait for The Home Depots on this continent to put their oar in as they hawk solar lamps and lawn gnomes.

Hmm as I recall Home Despot is a bit more on the conservative side in terms of ownership. We might not see this from them. Can't comment about their competitors, though.
