I recently did some reading about antidepressants and ADHD medications, and stumbled across this website: https://www.theinnercompass.org/learn-unlearn

I was shocked to see how many parallels there were with puberty blockers. The evidence for them is extremely sparse and poor-quality, and at best these drugs are only supposed to be used for like, a couple of months maximum, not years. Anti-depressants seem to cause sexual dysfunction, just like puberty blockers. And ADHD "medications" are, in some cases, straight-up meth. Wtf?

Any opinions from people here on antidepressants, anti-anxiety meds, ADHD meds...? This approach to mental health seems crazy. I also can't believe I never heard about this before. But I guess it's also hard to find real information about puberty blocker side effects, too, and I only found out about that because I was a curious gay person dealing with internalized homophobia.

For what it's worth, I still think puberty blockers are a uniquely harmful and unusual type of misused drug because they are built around the spiritual-like belief in an innate "gender identity" which cannot be objectively experienced, seen, heard, etc.
