Kink does not belong at all. Just no. Never. We have enough men murdering their wives/girlfriends then using "she liked kinky sex" as a defense in courts already. These perverted straight assholes do not need to leech off of us for validation or to push legal changes or make children kinky or whatever the fuck their degenerate goals are.

Not even getting into how horrible it is to lump LGB in with kink, which is a stigma we've had to fight against for fucking decades.

I haven't heard of this as a thing (at least not in the US) but it sounds terrible.

Yeah this really burns me too. The relationship I have with my husband -- which includes satisfying but vanilla sex -- has nothing to do with kink and I resent being lumped in with degenerates.

Uh, wouldn’t talking about kink in the workplace be considered sexual harassment? You’re not acknowledging that Dave is married to a man and asking people not to harass him for it. You’re specifically talking about sexual practices without others’ consent or comfort in mind. Which, if every sexual harassment training I’ve ever sat through is to be believed, would be sexual harassment.

Yes, it has nothing to do with LGB and it's not a relevant workplace consideration regardless.

Perhaps they mean to allow people to start acting out the 24/7 aspects of their kink lifestyles at work. (Get ready for pony play from your colleagues?)

Or more likely, they don't realize that this will occur and they'll have asked for it.

Again? People have been trying to tie kink to the lgballtheletters for years and it is still stupid as fuck. Do all what you like, safe sane and consensual, in your bedroom or kitchen or whatever, but really fuck off with pretending to be oppressed.

People not wanting to hear and/or see your stories about you being tied up and slapped with a my little pony stuffed animal last night, is not the same as Gary being harassed or fired because he's in love with a dude or Lily because she's in a relationship with a woman.

If anything, bothering people with your kink used to be against the etiquette. But alas, that was a long time ago and difficult to begin with.

I'm sure we can look forward to stories about those who identify as chihuahuas feeling discriminated against at work.
