There is already an r/lgdroptheb. Funnily enough, reddit never banned it for "promoting hate" like a certain other sub.. I wonder why? 🤔

I think those "drop the G" "Drop the L" "Drop the B" are nothing more than attempts by T to cause conflict and infighting inside the LGB community to drive the attention away from them.

Like, I don't even understand the point in dropping the L or B, when did bisexuals ever start spouting dangerous pseudo-science nonsense to enter opposite-sex spaces? When did they start advocating for child transition? When did they start pretending to be something they are not and force everybody to see them like that?

There might be a minor tension between L, G, and B but it will never be legitimate, serious or as extreme as dropping the T because this time, not only is LGB fighting against them but straight women too.

Several of the "drop the letter" subs were made by rDrama back when we all were still around on Reddit. One of my favorites was something like "GBTdroptheL", where everyone just went over-the-top ridiculous with blaming lesbians for every single possible thing that's ever gone wrong in the world.

r/lgdroptheb is genuine though, it was made by a lesbian who got into a squabble with a bisexual on our sub, and ran off to make a new sub.

User/mod has since deleted their account, so if someone wanted, they could possibly take it over using RedditRequest. Depends on if they actually added other mods before doing so.

I actually meant generally, not just on Reddit. It happens a lot where trans people dismiss any attempt at dropping the T by saying things like "LG also wanted to drop the B, see? They always fight inside the community so dropping the T isn't legitimate" They always try to create conflict and fight inside the LGB community once they realize that many LGB people are against them, they try to switch the attention to another group (usually the bisexuals) ignoring the fact that bisexuals, lesbians and gays are not systematic (I don't have a better word) hurtful the way the transgenderism is, some stereotypes about bisexuals cheating or faking their sexuality isn't enough to drop the B BUT child transition and taking over opposite-sex spaces on top of other things is definitely a good reason to drop the T.

Oh yeah, granted. Which is why reddit admin choose to not take action in these cases, very unlike whenever it concerns the T. It's like that "everyone loses their minds" Joker meme. That's also the reason for all those GCxxxPhobia accounts on Twitter. Sow discord; Divide and conquer.

I don't doubt there are a minority of members of every community that can do unsavory things like that, but it's not remotely as rampant like it is for the trans community, which I think is bordering on endemic.

There might be a minor tension between L, G, and B but it will never be legitimate, serious or as extreme as dropping the T because this time, not only LGB is fighting against them but also straight women.

Agreed. Also, I know personally wouldn't have a hissy fit and call for the removal of a sub that I could simply.. just never go to(what a concept!). I think we know who seems incapable of doing that and tries to have the entire internet scrubbed of all criticism for their sake.

100%. They're running this campaign right now on ovarit, actually.

Wait, really? Curious, do you have any links to examples?

I know we had a conversation a while back about bad agents' tactics used to subvert online forums. Sounds like an example of that?

From what I understand, they are doing that because they are mad about "bihet women" in lesbian spaces, and they generally blame the B for the current situation with the T. They think most bi people are faking it for attention.

This is a screenshot saved from GenderCynical: https://www.reddit.com/r/GenderCynical/comments/psd2cb/biphobia_on_ovarit_looks_like_lgb_is_already/.

It could be a TRA psyop -- I've seen a few TRAs brag about pilfering Ovarit codes -- but I doubt it.

"bihet women"

This phrase is a massive red flag. Anytime I've seen someone use it unironically, they've turned out to be deeply misogynistic and/or biphobic.

It could be a TRA psyop -- I've seen a few TRAs brag about pilfering Ovarit codes -- but I doubt it.

Yeah, I could see it going either way. A lot of radical feminists are biphobic. (And homophobic.) And that's not just from TRAs making them look bad; Julie Bindel and other radfem leaders have been shitting on bisexual women for decades.

edit: Also thanks for the example link!
