We need to draw a sharp and rigid boundary between things that are genuine civil rights and things that are not, and whenever TRAs start chipping away at those boundaries between what is and what isn't their business, those efforts need to be shut down. We have already let this discussion go on too far. The door to it should never have been opened in the first place.

Having your sexual desires fulfilled by someone else is NOT a civil right. The security of your own bodily autonomy is a civil right. The discussion should never go further than that. No one should ever be forced to account for, much less apologize for their choices about what to do with their own body. You don't owe sex to anyone. How the fuck did we ever get to the point where that even needs to be said?

It's why trans rights is such a lie. They already have the rights as everyone else. Often more depending on country. What they keep demanding is that they be able to force everyone else to follow their ideology. They shouldn't be fired from their jobs for being trans, but they also shouldn't be able to force anyone else to treat them like the opposite sex. Especially when it comes to sex and relationships.

My first name is one that people often shorten to a nickname. I don't like that nickname, but I don't have a mental breakdown if someone uses it. And I doubt I could demand to have someone fired or socially sanctioned for calling me Joe instead of Joseph (not my name, but same principle).
