TRAs everywhere else on Reddit: there’s no difference between vaginas and neovaginas! It’s transphobic to suggest there is!

TRAs on trans subs: So, neovaginas are an open wound that smells nauseating, leaks blood and pus, and is nothing like a vagina during sex.

The deleted comments... Holy shit, I didn't think neo vaginas could get any more disgusting, but fuck. Nope, no, never. I would rather have sex with a dick than a neo vagina. Just ugh. Going to go puke now.

Also really clear the mods wanted the poor woman to have no access to proper information about the situation. Making the mods complicit in the abuse she is suffering.

While the story itself is about as horrifying as we'd all expect it to be, the pattern of mod comment removal is just so telling. Anyone who says anything remotely along the lines of 'that sounds kind of abusive' or 'a self-inflicted wound on a man's body isn't going to be self cleaning in the same way a woman's vagina is' is instantly removed.

Looks like the post is over a year old now though. I hope she got out. Part of me wants to pat her on the back for staying with him for so long but then another part of me wants to shake her and scream 'What were you expecting?!'

I could never. If I had a partner who 'came out' as trans that would pretty much be the end of it for me.

"Wild" is an understatement. This lady is so deep in her rationalizations.

I probably wasn't supposed to laugh reading that, but I did.
I already know how this story is going to end, too: the woman is slowly realizing her 'girlfriend' and her brand new 'vagina' is really just a man with a wound that they won't let heal. Heartache ensues, a dramatic breakup, and then a montage laid over a Tegan and Sara song while the woman stares poignantly out the window of a moving bus, deep in thought, and the scene cuts away to a wall with a shadow of a body swaying slowly from a rope suspended from the ceiling.

Credits roll, Oscars queue.

Just kept scrolling for the deleted comments. As already noted here, they're the ones you would expect would be censored. Though I was surprised that one "the TERFs are right" comment was allowed to stay, though some replies were deleted.

Since I've heard all of this kind of thing before it's no longer shocking, but until it's repeated over and over and over in a public way it's not going to start to be heard as well as the gaslighting is.

I'm really enjoying being single, given that I live in a TRA-infested area. Much easier to just shake my head and make popcorn and do my part to quietly push the facts out into the open than wonder if my next partner is going to jump on this runaway train over a cliff. We're riding out a very strange time in history but the tide is still, slowly, turning. And we are part of making that happen.

Ultimately that will save lives.

Oh, gross. I had to stop reading this story because I wanna have a meal at some point.

The bandages finally came off, and she was horrified by how swollen and "gruesome" everything looked, but the doctor assured her it would heal.

There was a mild scare in the middle of her recovery where the stitches on her labia kind of "dissolved" but the surgeon, again, reassured both of us that was normal.

None of this is normal. But thanks Doc, for performing these procedures and repeatedly assuring the mentally unwell that they are not destroying their bodies. I'm sure all these SRS cases are gonna turn out well..
