I don’t have a problem with Islam, but it is definitely no better than Christianity when it comes to how it treats gay people. Imams oppose gay marriage by consensus. And homophobic Muslims are more hostile and violent than homophobic Christians. There are a lot of Muslims who wouldn’t mind having a child who is gay, but there are also a lot who would murder their own child for being gay. Many Muslims see gay rights as a western concept; they look at how western countries are in decline, and they connect that decline with the widespread acceptance of gay marriage across western countries. Sure, homosexual activity between men is frequent in Middle Eastern countries, but there is still the expectation to marry a woman. And god help you if you are a lesbian living in Saudi Arabia, Iran or Afghanistan.

I do respect that Islam rejects woke culture, and that most Muslims don’t play with that culture at all. Furthermore, Muslims would a lot more peaceful if America, Britain and France would stop invading and bombing Middle Eastern and North African countries. But let’s not pretend that Muslims are better than Christians. The only reason a lot of Muslims support left wing parties in countries like the UK or Germany is because those parties promise them free stuff.
