Yeah I always love reading the "I pass" or "I stealth and nobody knows !" posts b/c the delusion is so absurd. As if there is some secret clan of trans ninjas who move undetected throughout society fooling everyone. So insane.

I have known / seen people who pass fairly well (with clothes on at least).

But I'd be very surprised to hear them ever claim they do 100% of the time and actually be able to prove that. They can't unless they interview everyone who ever observes them.

And then, of course, we can't really trust those interview answers either, given the widely-known climate of insane bullying that can result when one is honest about what one observes.

So there's not a conceivable way to make this claim with any credibility.

Here's the thing: even MtFs and FtMs who "pass" can be clocked by behaviour alone.

We got the MtFs who act like horny, oversexualized twinks and the FtMs who act like oversensitive teen girls while overcompensating with certain linguistic maneirisms (like initiating every sentence with "bro", "man").

All of this emanates that sheer "how you do fellow males/females" energy which makes them very easy to clock.

To an astute observer, maybe, and not 100% of the time.

I think your confidence might be a bit high that you're always getting this right.

The catch is to know how and what to look for.

If you know these two things, then the rest comes easily.

I think you're missing the part where when you don't clock someone you won't know that you didn't. ;-) What I'm cautioning against here is succumbing to hubris.
