My personal hypothesis is that it's because a vagina does not flop around like a fleshy aquatic worm superglued to a human crotch in the way a penis does, and that if you don't have to be very obviously aware of something on the daily and also don't have any intrinsic interest in that thing either you're probably not going to go out of your way to learn more about it and thus will be at risk of just not giving much of a shit about it and never learning how it works beyond the basics.

Kinda like how people who don't look at cryptocurrency forums usually don't know or care much about NFTs unless they know someone who's really in-your-face about the cryptocurrency subculture, but instead of expensive virtual monopoly money it's genitalia. (Astute readers will notice that this means that NFT enthusiasts and penises have some striking parallels, lending credence to the common assertion that crypto bros are dicks.)
