I agree with most of the comments. One comment that stood out was:

Society treats all of us the same way, which is why we all group together. Being trans doesn't actually have anything to do with being gay, but since we all experience the same homophobia from society and bigots lump us all together, we have a lot of shared experiences and a shared fight.

Except that having a shared fight doesn’t mean we have to be grouped together. Some of the interests of trans people conflict with our own interests. A lot of people see transgenderism as a "cure" for homosexuality. And we don’t really have a shared fight. I want us gays to be left alone, and for our relationships to be respected. Trans people want to be the opposite sex. That’s not a shared fight.
